Hey guys!

Hope you are doing great!

In today's post, we will discuss four ways to get collaborations with brands as an influencer.

When you come across a word influencer, the first thing that comes into everyone's mind is how does an influencer get all freebies?

One thing you must know here is, nothing comes for free. The things which are known to be freebies must be considered as the amount of effort and time an influencer spent to create content.

So basically, if you're a newbie, you need to put a little more effort to get collaborations with brands.

One :
Emails:
Sending Emails is one of the best ways to get in touch with brands. Every brand will have mail id for influencers to get in touch with.
We can give a brief description about us and our work, Contact information, attach the social media website links along with a media kit it required.
The brands will get you if your profile matches their requirement.

Two:
DM:
Sending Direct Messages on Instagram is similar to sending emails but in an informal way.
You briefly tell about your work and share screenshots of your insights.
Brands will directly talk you if they have requirements.
Sometimes, they share Emails to make the conversation formal.

Three:
Referrals and Blogger groups:

Referrals are the best way to get collaborations with newbies. If you have any friends from influencers, you can ask them to refer you for event launches and brand collaborations.
You need to maintain a huge network if you're an influencer.

Networking is something that helps with brand collaborations.

Four:
PR agencies

PR agencies are the third party who brings brands and influencers together.
To get in touch with PR agencies, you need to do a little research.
Try to find the best PR agencies in your city on google and try getting the mail ids.
Once you get the right mail ids, then its a boom.
You will get an opportunity to collaborate with brands more often if you get connected to PR agencies.

So guys!

These are the ways to get in touch with brands and to get collaborations.

I hope this article of mine, will help you with your initial collaborations.

Thank you for reading.

Lots of Love,
SP

Hello there,

I hope you have liked the case study which I have written earlier.

In today's post, we will learn about how to start a blog if you are a beginner.

Let us do it in stepwise.

Step one:
Be specific.

When you're a newbie, you must actually know what your interests are.
When you want to start a blog you must be very keen about a particular category you are interested in.
For example, Someone is very keen on finance and some of them are keen about food.
So, it is very important to be specific about what you're going to start with.

Step two:
Choose a right platform :

Now that you have an idea with you, You need to choose a platform to write your blogs.

You can choose Wordpress, Blogger, Tumbler, Wix and so on.

Since you're a newbie you can start it up with Google's Blogger.
The crux of using WordPress or any other platform is, You will have to buy a domain name and other services if you want to use its complete services.
Whereas in blogger everything is free initially. You don't have to pay for taxes or any other additional services.

Once you are used to it, then you can change your platform to any other site.
*/We will learn about changing the platform without disturbing your SEO in other article/*

Step three:
Write frequently

It is very much important to post at least once a week. Your audience must not get bored with your blog. They must get engaged and entertained.
So try to post frequently.

Step four:
Maintain SEO

To maintain Search Engine Optimization, you have to use the right keywords.

1. If you're writing a post related to fashion, try to get some keywords form hashtag analytics website.

These websites help to build engagement and reach.
Once you get the right keywords, try implementing them in your article.

Right keywords will help you to get more visibility in Search Engines as in google.

For example, if someone is searching about 'fashion tips in summer', Your article will get displayed on Search Engine if you have used the word 'fashion tips' frequently in your article.

2. You have to design an appropriate cover picture for your article.
If the cover picture looks attractive, people will visit your blog and read the articles you have written.
You can use Canvas and Photogrid to edit your cover pictures.

3. Always maintain an Email list.
When you're just starting, it is obvious that you don't have enough subscribers as a newbie.
Collect email Ids from people and send them your post as a group mail every week.
If people like what you wrote, then they will subscribe to your Blog.

So guys,

I hope this post has given you some insights about how to start a blog.

Today's Excercise:

Take a paper & pen and jot down your interests about your favorite blog category.
Fashion, Food, Education, Technology or anything as such.

Once you have finalized your idea, open a blogger site and start writing it.

Also, if you have any queries, do write them in the comment section below. I would love to answer them all.

Lots of love,

Hey guys!

I've been planning to give you all some lessons about blogs, blogger, influencers, and influencer marketing.

This course is basically designed to make you understand how collaborations with bloggers work? And how do bloggers and influencers actually make money.

/*Along with the readings, you will find some exercises to practice*/

So to begin with,
I would love to introduce you all to the "Daniel Wellington" a classic collaboration which every influencer wishes for!

You need to first understand what is influencer marketing before learning about DW collaboration.

Read about influencer marketing here if you haven't read before!

Hope you have got some insights about influencer marketing.

Have you ever wondered how influencers get a ten thousand rupees 'wrist watch' absolutely for free?
You will understand everything after going through the article.

Daniel Wellington - the brand
DW is a Swedish company which was founded in 2011 by Filip Tysander.
On average, the brands make money of $200million dollars every year.
From the past four years, the sales have gone from $1 million dollars to $200million.

So can you guess what strategies they might have implemented to grow their business?

Undoubtedly they have implemented a strategy called "Influencer Marketing".

As part of the collaboration, a few selected influencers from a niche will be given a watch along with a coupon code.
In return, the influencer has to promote the watch and brand.
The coupon code given by the brand will have a 15% discount on every new purchase.
The influencer will promote the watch and code at their particular niche.

Someone from the influencers target group purchases the watch using the code will get an offer of 15%.
For example, if the watch is for Rs.10,000/- using the code, it comes down to Rs.7500/-
The percentage of that watch's sale will be given to the influencer.

How does this benefit Daniel Wellington ?

Firstly, DW wants a social presence which will automatically happen through influencers when they promote the watch on various social media platforms as in face book, instagram and so on.

Second, when the influencer of a particular niche, will promote the watch, people who are in the surroundings and have no idea about DW will get to know about the brand.

third, When the targeted group purchases the watch, the brand gets 70% of the amount
For example, if an influencer has got 5000 followers, at least 10 of his followers will use the coupon code and purchase the watch.
One watch equals to Rs.10,000/-
Ten watches equal to Rs.1,00,000/-

After cutting down the percentage of an influencer, Daniel Wellington will recieve
Rs.70,00/-.

So, for Rs.10,00/- DW will gain Rs.60,000/- .

Every year Daniel Wellington will manufacture 20,00 watches just for the influencers.
They send a sample watch to the influencer and expect a promotion for them which indeed gives them huge returns.

That is how DW makes money.

How can you collaborate with DW?

There are two ways to collaborate with DW

One, The PR's from DW will look at your social media profiles and will send you a request for collaboration.

Two, You can directly mail to the official influencer program of DW and request them to collaborate with you.
Once, your profile gets verified, you will be sent a sample watch.

                                                                                                                                                                Hey There!

Hope you're doing great.

My regular posts are about fashion, but today I will deliver about Influencer marketing.

The idea to write it is to clear the myths about blogger and also give some insights
about influential marketing.

Here is an Illustration:

Suppose, if  MC Donalds has recently launched a new type of French fries and wants to make the
product reach people, what kind of marketing activity would they indulge in?

It is advertising obviously.
They can advertise on Newspapers, radio, Television and also could use Influencers

Who are these Influencers?
They might be well-known celebrities or someone whose views, opinions and thought processes are liked and others would like to follow the influencer style and behavior

                                         Image result for influencer marketing

An influencer can be an expert who uses the products and gives his/her opinion.

If the product is MC Donalds’s new french fries, an influencer would eat the sample fries and post a review about it so that people will find it easy to choose if that particular product

Companies launch new products and want it to reach people through trusted influencers.

Influencers play a major role when it comes to trust and they will reach people to such an extent where a celebrity or other source of media would never reach.

An influencer can be a blogger or vlogger.

Blogger is someone who writes a review about a product or service on the company's website or personal website

Vlogger is someone who makes videos and talks the review about the product or service.

That is what an influencer is and that is what I do. I am not a model who poses for paparazzi. I am a
product reviewer and fashion advisor who helps people in numerous ways.

If you have any queries related to the article and influencer marketing drop them in the comment
section below. I would love to answer them
