mY Summer pArty with cHanderi cotton dress and bOho jEwellery! ⺗⺗⺗⺗❤❤❤❤
A couple of weeks ago, My pals asked me about what am I wearing to the farewell party which is hosted by my MBA college.
I felt that nothing is more comfortable than wearing a cotton dress. Fortunately, there was an hand-loom exhibition which was put up near N.T.R park, Hyderabad. I ran into the exhibition stores and the first thing that caught my eye was chanderi cotton cloth. I picked up green color and the design of the dress was already on the mind.
About chanderi
Chanderi cloth is originated since 18th century forms a town named chanderi. This town is very popular for best handmade handloom clusters which were woven using handspun cotton wefts back then in the 18th century. Today, handspun wafts are replaced with mills.
Chanderi cloth is available in cotton, silk, organza and many other varieties.
This cloth is also known to be one of the best selling cloths all around the world.
So, I feel privileged to wear India's one of the finest cloths.
So, let me show the demonstration of the dress I have designed in 3 steps.
Step1 : design of the mannequin
It took me a while to get the drawings done. As I purchased the green color cloth, I tried to mix and match some colors with green.
Step 2 : tailoring

Getting the design into a shape has taken a time of seven days.
Step 3 : ready to wear

And that's me wearing the dress :)
So, to match this look, I have tried Boho accesories which has been existing since 17th century. The silver color chain and the silver nosepin blends with the look.
