The Vogue Diaries

Quarantine has hit the world and it's been too long since I have gone out to my favorite restaurants for food tasting sessions.

Surprisingly, I got a call from my cousin saying that CoCo works are sending their amazing juices home and most importantly, they are healthy juices which have no preservatives.

I wanted to give it a shot and asked them to get those juices delivered.

I have ordered four flavors and trust me all of them very luscious and healthy.

Flavor one :
Organic Coconut water
This flavor is naturally refreshing and has a sweet and nutty taste.
Coconut water naturally has less sugar. It is definitely better than any other fruit juice or drink.
It is also low in calories and nutritions. So, all the calorie counters, try out this yummy cold-pressed juice and have a great experience.

Flavor two:
Pink panther
Freshly squeezed watermelon juice is refreshingly sweet and perfect for dog days. This flavor is my favorite among all the juices I've tasted from cold-pressed juices.
The natural sweetness from the melon and the combination of coconut water has made the taste delicious.
Watermelon juice has its own benefits. It helps in reducing inflammation and improves your heart rate.
What is better than having a fresh juice that is just taken out of the fruit?

Flavor three:
Pinacolada:
Pineapple is the perfect assortment with coconut water. I'm not really a fan of pineapple. The taste was good.
This flavor is for someone who doesn't prefer too much of sugar and someone who loves experimenting with new flavors.
This juice tasted hot, zesty, and biting yet sweet and warm.
If you are a total food lover, you must definitely try this.

Flavor four:
Cocochoco:
This is another favorite drink of mine from the cold-pressed juice collection.
This drink is an excellent combination of milk, coconut water, and cocoa powder.
I'm a huge fan of chocolate. This drink is very appetizing and most importantly it is very low in calories.
So dear pals, have this drink and make justice to your sweet cravings.

So pals,
If you're looking to get an extra boost of nutrition tryout these amazing cold-pressed juices from coco works.

You can purchase the juices here:
Tap Me

That was it for the day. I hope this post of mine is helpful.

I will see you soon with more such posts.

Have a nice quarantine time,
Lots of love

Taking care of your skin is not just for maintaining your image. Skin acts as a protection for your body.
Our ultimate goal is to choosing the right treatment for daily routine.
Aging skin is not a factor for only women who are aged around 30+.

Skin ages for the 16-year-old person too.

Our daily rituals, pollution and all sorts of activities we do will damage the top layer of skin which we can call it the aging process of the skin.

The best way to clean out the aged skin is exfoliation or simply the clay mask.

Most of us often think clay masks and sheet masks are used only by women. We even imagine the picture of women tying a towel to hair and applying a white cream on her face.

The skincare is only for women is a typical stereotype. Skincare is for both Men and Women.

The clay mask removes impurities and improves the sebum level not to rise above the mediocre.

This process helps the skin to stay normal and shining.

Keeping these on my mind, I've recently got my hands on the best product ever which is also a Unisex product.
'The Slova Renew face mask'.
I use this mask twice a week and have seen the improvement on my face within no time.

The phytocelltec technology which is used in this mask will help you to achieve the younger skin and healthy look.
The key ingredient in the mask is clay and bamboo silk.
It will help to improve your sebum level. If you have high sebum in your system, it will lead to oily skin. If you have low sebum in your system, it will lead to dry skin. To have normal skin, you must use a clay mask and moisturizer to keep your skin fresh and to maintain the sebum level.

Directions to Use the mask:
Take a pea-sized amount of cream and apply it all over face and leave it for 10-15 minutes.
Wash it off and find the instant glow on your face.

You can use a wet wipe or cotton pads to remove the mask off your face.

Purchase the product here:
Tap here

Summary:
If you're looking for a relaxing way of improving your skin and to eliminate the imperfections, there is nothing better than the Slova cosmetics Renew Mask.
Pamper your skin and your skin will thank you for doing that.

Pushkar is 150 km away from Jaipur. We got in the vehicle at 9.00 a.m in the morning and reached Pushkar at 1.00 p.m in the noon

Pushkar
You witness an enthralling view there.

1. The moment you see the lake, temple and the atmosphere it feels so divine.

2. Pushkar is the only temple in this world for Lord Brahma who is believed to be the creator of the entire universe by Hindu dharma.

3. The history says, whoever visits Pushkar, takes a holy dip in the lake and bestow shradh to their beloved ancestors for their well being in another realm will be blessed immensely.

4. But, one has to be really careful with the priests who perform pinda pradhan. They try to fleece money from devotees and tourists in the name Annadanam for poor brahmins, God and ancestors.

Otherwise, this place is serenely pleasing.
Evening treks and camel rides are popular in Pushkar.

5. Do not forget to drink Malai doodh that is usually served outside the temple.

It was 3.00 p.m in the noon. After exploring Pushkar city, we then headed to Ajmer.

Ajmer

Ajmer is one of the most important pilgrimages in India. This place is a resting place for Khwaja Moi-in-Uddin Chisti who was a Sufi saint. The Darga was huge and painted all green and white.

This Darga was constructed in the 15th century by the Emperor Humayun. The doors and windows of the Darga are made out of silver and other precious stones.

One of the interesting facts about this Darga is food is made in huge vessels and will be served for more than 1000 people at once.
This place is 150 km away from Jaipur. You can take a cab to get to the place.

Five facts about Ajmer
1. The Darga was constructed in the 13th century and known for the resting place of Khwaja Moi-in-Uddin Chisti.

2. After Namaz, the Singers will praise the lord by their melodious hymns.

3. Jahalra is one of the monuments inside the Darga and the only source of water and also used for devotional prayers even today.

4. You will find two huge pots inside the Darga.
These pots are used to cook luscious food and serve the poor and the devotees.

5. Beware of the beggars who wander around the streets of Ajmer. They won't let you go until you handover huge lump some of the money.

On and On it's a great experience to visit Ajmer.
Do visit this place and enjoy the Khwaja's vibe.

Also, you can watch the Youtube video to witness our experience.

PS:  Special thanks to Snigdha Polapragada for sharing her thoughts about Pushkar.

It was 8.00 am in the morning. Our flight landed in Jaipur and it was 12°c in the morning. It was super cold and frozen. Well, yeah, I do not want to write much about my opinion here. I would love to tell you about the best places to visit in Jaipur.

Jaipur- The pink city

The major part of the city is painted in pink color. Hence, the city of Jaipur is called 'The Pink City'. The color pink is a very welcoming color and it looked very soothing to the eyes.
Jaipur is a small town with the most beautiful and gigantic ancient mahals and bungalows dwelled in it.

Top 5 places to visit in Jaipur

Amer Fort
The imperial building which is cradled on Aravalli ranges is an architectural masterpiece with incredibly constructed with pink and sandstone.
This Mahal was constructed by Maharaja Man Singh in 1500 A.D
The massive mahal is about 20 km around and it will take 2 -3 hours to cover the entire place.
Take some time and spend your day exploring this extraordinary fort and admire the astoundingly elegant architecture.

Hawa Mahal
This Mahal is one such destination that will on the bucket list of every traveler. The gigantic mahal has more than 900 windows which made the mahal look like a honeycomb of a beehive.
This mahal was constructed in 1700 A.D and the windows were the only source for the women in the mahal to see what is happening in the city streets.
If you're visiting Jaipur, make sure to visit this mahal and click amazing pictures in front of the mahal.

Jal Mahal
Jal Mahal is majestic and elegant that is located in the center of Sagar lake. This mahal was built in the 17th century by Maharaja Mano Singh. The tourists are not allowed to go into the mahal but can go for boating in the lake and enjoy the view.

Street shopping
The street opposite Jal mahal is the best place to shop the puppets, bellies, keychains, embroidered umbrella and miniatures. The prices start at Rs.10 and don't forget to bargain with those vendors if you're looking to buy the products in bulk.
The lane in front of Hawa Mahal is very famous for Kundan jewelry, Meenakari jewelry and also the most beautiful bandini Sarees. The starting price of the bandini saree is Rs.600 and goes on till Rs.20,000.
Beware of those vendors who claim themselves to be the only sellers of bandini sarees. The astrologers take the privilege to hoax the tourists and mislead them to buy gemstones at a very higher price. Don't get carried away by their words.
Make sure to take home from the Jaipur streets.

Street food
If you're visiting Jaipur, you must definitely have the famous gol gappe on the street near Jal Mahal. The cost of one gol gappe plate is Rs.10 and six puris will be served for that price.
I think Rs.10 is a very good price for the amazing taste.
Also, don't miss to taste the nimboo pani which works as a detox for your body in the journey.

Elephant park
Mahals Check, Shopping Check, Street food Check, Wait for a minute people, there is one more interesting place in Jaipur and you must definitely visit here.
Elephant Park is a destination where you can conduct more than 100 activities with the elephants. This place will be adored by the kids and the entry cost is Rs.300 for the basic ride and the price keeps on increasing depending upon the activities.

After visiting all these places, when then headed to the hotel named Park Regal for our stay for the night.
The hotel looked beautiful and the cost for one night is Rs.2500 which is promising.
We then had our dinner and went to bed.

Well, its 6.30 a.m in the morning and the morning sun woke me up with soft rays that fell on my cheeks and then my eyes.

I realised that I'm on my way to jaipur from hyderabad. I got on to this flight an hour ago and fell asleep.

I woke up after and hour ago and went through the books that were packed neatly in front of me.
One book says 'IN Flight Menu'.

I abruptly realised that I'm hungry. Travel makes us gain appetite for food! Yeah, that's the fact 😁
While I was going through the menu, the damsel in black and white came across and inquired

'Excuse me ma'am, Would you like to have something?'
The aroma of the morning food is very flavorful.

The menu says complimentary food is served if you pay the amount along with the flight ticket
I went through the menu and decided to have a bowl of Maggie noodles which I felt is the safest when you are in the journey.

The price was Rs.250. I was startled by the price. I placed the order and waited for the damsel to serve.

Within no time, she got me the bowl full of instant maggie.
The taste hasn't risen above mediocre. I finished it in five ounces.

After finishing up the involuntary flight food, I then waited for the flight to land in the pink city.

Hey there!
Long-time no see! I'm sorry about that!
I promise to put down my words on this blog very often from now on.

I'm glad that we are traveling together through my blog.

Day one in manali:
Read here

Day two in Manali has begun with a lot of enthusiasm by the cool climate in Manali. The soft rays from the sun reflected through the curtains woke us up welcoming into the day.

We finished our daily chores and then got into the minivan to surf around the city.
The Rohtang pass is closed said the driver in a very casual way.
Our faces started to dwindle after listening to those words.
People visit Manali especially to see the Rohtang pass - the only place which will snow for the entire year.
And that was the reason why we chose manali as our holiday destination.

The driver noticed the disappointment in our face and said that he will take us to a similar place where the snowfall happens occasionally.
Something is better than nothing. All of us agreed to what he confided and started our journey to Gulaba View Point

Gulaba View point
The roads were pretty narrow and our journey towards the viewpoint has become a thrill. There were deep hollow space on either side of the road and the elders on the bus had goosebumps looking at the elevated roads.

After traveling for an hour, we reached the destination.
To my surprise, I haven't found snow but found a travel guide name 'bijilana' who was kind enough to navigate us through the way. She said that we are supposed to trek for 45mins to reach the snow.

We then started our trek to witness the beauty of the Himalayas.
The fresh air, the aroma of the blossomed flowers, the purest flowing water have given us a warm welcome throughout the trek.
It took more than 45 mins to complete the trek.
It was quite an experience.

The purest of the pure, The Himalayas were right in front of me. I was rejoiced out of happiness after viewing the true beauty of nature.
The ice which was freshly formed slowly melted into drops of water and then those drops formed a huge stream.
Nature's beauty cannot be compared with any other source. One must visit this place to experience what I've experienced.
We then came back to the parking area and got on to the bus.
This was the best trek in my life till date. I was lost in my thoughts thinking about the creator of the universe and thanked him for forging the nature that is surreal.

Mall road
Within no time, we reached the mall road. It was a huge road with a bunch of local stores that sold shawls, groceries and some of their traditional clothes.
There was nothing for the tourists to shop. We can just visit the mall road to discern how the stores were organized.
From there, we headed to the famous Hadimba temple.

Hadimba temple
If you're visiting Manali, then the Hidimba temple must surely be one of your stops. The temple was built to worship the tribal queen Hidimba who was the wife of King Bheema from Mahabharata.
Locals say that the Deity has the power to capture and remove the impact of evil eye on people.
The temple was very peaceful.
After finishing the darshan, we came out and wore Manali's traditional outfits and snapped pictures.

The day was totally arduous. We headed back to the hotel room, had our dinner and went to the bed.
