Hey there!
Hope you're doing great!
Summer is almost here and I was kind of brainstorming about outfit ideas for the season.
Since it is the onset of Summer, I came across a beautiful idea of posting something related to handloom.
India has long traditional excellence and handlooms are known to be summer favorites.
It's time to say bye to woolen cardigans and welcome our favorite lightweight and breathable cotton fabrics.
I planned on wearing three different fabrics which are, Kalamkari, Ikkat, and Mul Cotton.
I curated six different looks with these fabrics and I truly enjoyed taking the snaps wearing each one.
Swipe down to get a look at them!
Kalamkari :
Kalamkari fabric is the pride of Telugu. The cloth is woven in parts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The word Kalam means pen wherein a free hand sketch is portrayed on cloth which is worn by us as Sarees, Kurtis and so on.

Ikkat:
Ikkat prints are one of my favorite fabrics. They are woven in a place named Pochampally. These tie and dye fabrics are handpicked by most of the people during summer and are personal favorites too.

Mul Cotton:
Mul Cotton is the softest fabric and perfect summer wear. The fabric is handmade and hand-block printed one. The softness and frailness of the cloth make you look neat and trim during summer.
